So the history of the Butterfinger. It was invented in 1923 by the Curtiss candy company in Chicago. To get a name for the candy bar the company had a contest and they chose (obviously), Butterfinger.
I always wondered if it had anything to do with having 'butterfingers' but it really does. It has to do with the candy bar usually falling apart while your eating it, you know 'butterfingers'. ha ha
